| Why are the Roadshows being held? | | Firstly, we want your input into two major Planning Strategies that will ultimately shape our future population growth, economy, community and environment. The strategies are a Residential Settlement Strategy and a Rural Land Use Study. A summary of each of these strategies can be viewed below.
Secondly, we would like you to give us direct feedback on how we can continue to improve our delivery of planning services.

| What improvements have been made so far? | | Since 2008 Towong Shire has reduced the average turnaround time for planning applications from 71 days to 22 days and now ranks as having one of the fastest planning application processing times of all 72 Victorian Councils. We also believe that we are delivering the service in a much more customer focused manner.

| Are the changes likely to directly impact on me? | | If you own land in the affected areas then you will most likely be affected in some manner. Maps of the affected areas can be viewed below.

| How can I have my say? | | Simply attend one of the Roadshows and give us your input. If you are particularly concerned about the changes you should arrange an individual appointment with our Planning Manager by calling Brenda Clissold on (02) 6071 5100.
