Towong Shire Council - PUBLIC NOTICE - Fire Hazard Inspections


Properties in townships across the Shire will be inspected for fire hazards during November. If a property is overgrown or contains rubbish that could constitute a fire hazard, a Fire Prevention Notice can be issued. The owner or occupier of a property issued with a notice must remove the hazard within fourteen days or risk incurring a fine plus the expense of Council removing the hazard.
