Speak Out Loud

Speak Out Loud

More than a dozen of the region’s leading support and advocacy agencies will converge on Tallangatta when Towong Shire Council hosts its annual Speak Out Loud event on Friday 2 December.

The event is an opportunity for residents to learn about a host of support and advocacy groups operating in the region who can help with everything from Aged Pension changes to family support.

Representatives from key agencies will be in attendance ready to answer questions and offer information about the various programs and services they provide.

Headspace Albury Wodonga will provide information on health support services, Australian Hearing will offer free hearing tests and Bunnings will present a free ‘Gardening makes friends’ workshop with Milton ‘Gumboots’ Kimball.

The event will also feature presentations on the National Disability Insurance Scheme and changes to the Aged Pension which will be rolled out in 2017.
