A once-in-a-generation milestone is almost here: in July 2025, Corryong will mark 150 years since its official proclamation as a township.
To celebrate, the community has come together to create a week of festivities; expect a vibrant mix of history, culture and local creativity across the region from 20 to 27 July 2025.
Highlights include:
- Proclamation High Tea at Corryong Memorial Hall (bookings required)
- An Arnold Playle photographic exhibition
- Guided and self-paced heritage walks
- Performances, storytelling, and re-enactments
- Pop-up displays, costumed locals, and community morning teas
- The opening of the Nature Wellness Trail on Playles Hill
- Special exhibitions courtesy of The Man from Snowy River Museum – and much more
