​Rail Trail Reopens Between Corryong and Colac Colac

Towong Shire Council will reopen the High Country Rail Trail to public access between Corryong and Colac Colac from Tuesday 17 February 2026.

Council’s outdoor team based in Corryong is removing temporary signage that is no longer required along this section.

Progress continues on safety assessments and other works required to reopen more heavily impacted sections of the trail between Colac Colac and Tallangatta. These sections remain closed to the public. Council will provide further updates as they become available.
