Towong Shire Council is pleased to announce that the Bellbridge Container Café will soon reopen under the name Bridge & Brew, with Infinity Coordination & Supports Pty Ltd selected as the new operator. The locally inspired café is expected to officially open on 8 April, pending the finalisation of all lease arrangements between both parties.
Council is delighted to welcome Infinity Coordination & Supports as the preferred operator, particularly as the business owner and management team are based locally in Bellbridge. This strong local connection reflects Council’s commitment to supporting community‑led initiatives and ensuring valued public spaces continue to serve residents and visitors alike.
Mayor Peter Tolsher said the appointment of a locally based operator with a strong community focus was an excellent outcome for Bellbridge. “Bridge & Brew has the potential to be much more than a café. It will be a welcoming place for locals and visitors, a space that brings people together, and an initiative that reflects the inclusive values of our community. Council is pleased to support a locally driven operation that places community connection at its core.”
Infinity Coordination & Supports is a registered NDIS provider operating across north‑east Victoria and southern New South Wales. Established in 2021, the organisation operates across a number of service areas and is guided by a strong values‑based approach focused on inclusion and community connection.
The operators have described Bridge & Brew as a community‑driven initiative rather than a profit‑driven venture, with a clear vision for the café to operate as a genuine community hub. The space is intended to be a welcoming gathering place for locals, a friendly entry point for visitors to the Lake Hume area, and a platform for inclusive employment opportunities within the township.
The operators have committed to creating meaningful employment pathways for people of varying abilities, supporting local young people to access employment, and providing structured mentoring and skills development. This approach reflects the organisation’s broader commitment to equity, inclusion and strengthening our local communities.
Three members of Infinity’s executive team reside in Bellbridge, further reinforcing the organisation’s long‑term investment in the area.
Bridge & Brew will offer barista coffee, grab‑and‑go meals, light breakfasts and lunches, seasonal menu items and affordable options designed with local families in mind. The operators also plan to introduce community‑focused themed nights and essential convenience items, with the aim of fostering connection and enhancing the day‑to‑day amenity of Bellbridge.
