Council will undertake urgent works to replace a culvert on Springdale Road, south of Sirls Road near the Bethanga Golf Club, due to undermining beneath the existing culvert.
Works are scheduled to commence next week (week of Monday 10 August) and will be carried out by local contractors. To ensure the works can be completed as quickly as possible, the section of Springdale Road at the culvert will be closed to all traffic for approximately three weeks.
Detour signage will be in place directing motorists to an alternate route via Lake Road.
Council thanks the community for its patience and understanding while these essential works are completed.
