Playles Hill temporary closure

Playles Hill, Corryong, will be temporarily closed on Friday 8 May 2026, from 7.00 pm until midnight for community-organised rabbit control activities. Rabbit control will also take place on a surrounding property where rabbit burrows have been identified.

While this initiative is being led by local community members, Council recognises the ongoing rabbit issue and supports measures that help manage it. All works will be carried out by private contractor Vertebrate Management Solutions, with signage, barriers, lighting, and risk assessments in place to ensure public safety.
