2026 Bushfire Recovery Hubs
Council has is operating fixed Bushfire Recovery Hubs in Corryong and Tallangatta to support residents impacted by the January 2026 bushfires. The Recovery Hubs provide a single point of contact where multiple agencies can offer information, advice and assistance related to bushfire recovery.
We're also running a range of outreach hubs on the dates below.
Residents can also contact Council’s recovery team for advice or to discuss available support by emailing recovery@towong.vic.gov.au.
Community outreach recovery hubs
Council's Recovery Team is visiting communities across the Shire through winter 2026. These sessions will provide an opportunity for community members affected by the January 2026 bushfires to speak directly with Recovery staff about available support, assistance, agency referrals and recovery-related questions. Community members can also raise matters directly with Council.
If you cannot attend the session closest to you, you're welcome to visit any of the other sessions listed below. All sessions run from 10.00am to 2.00pm on the dates below.
