Nariel Creek Folk Festival

The Nariel Creek Folk Festival is a celebration of traditional folk music, song and dance and is held on the banks of the beautiful Nariel Creek in the Nariel Creek Recreation Reserve. The event has been held since the early sixties, making it one of the longest running folk festivals in Australia. The artists are not paid, and the event is a not-for-profit community event. Experience musical performances around the campfire and attend the blackboard concert on New Year’s Day. There will also be a series of old time dances held in the Cudgewa Hall. The Festival is a great family-friendly festival for those wanting something a little more laid-back and relaxed to enjoy over the festive period. Camping is available leading up to, during and after the festival. Fees apply. For further information visit
