Community outreach recovery hubs

Council's Recovery Team are visiting communities across the Shire this June and July. These sessions will provide an opportunity for those affected by the January 2026 fires to speak directly with Recovery staff about available support, assistance, agency referrals and recovery-related questions.

Bellbridge

Bellbridge Early Years Learning Centre offers three and four-year-old kindergarten programs.

The Walwa Early Years Learning Centre offers three and four year old kindergarten programs. The school has now relocated to the site of Walwa Primary School.

To enrol your child in one of our kindergarten programs, visit our Enrolment portal.

From 2026, Towong Shire Council will begin to roll out the Best Start, Best Life reform. Under the changes, the demand for kindergarten places will increase and you might not be allocated a position and will be placed on to a waiting list. A priority of access criteria will be applied through the kindergarten allocation process. Learn more

To further support opportunities for children to access Kindergarten, Towong Shire also utilises a Central Registration and Enrolment Scheme (CRES) across its services.
