Towong Shire is a spectacular destination to explore by motorhome, caravan or RV. To help keep the region clean and pristine, please dispose of all waste only at designated dump points.
There are four main public dump points in Towong Shire:
- Corryong Saleyards, Cnr Donaldson Street and Stock Route Road
- Dartmouth, at Murtagh Place
- Tallangatta Showgrounds, Cnr Coorilla and Werama Streets (approximately 100 metres from front gate)
- Walwa Community Recovery Centre, O'Halloran Street.
The dump points are well sign-posted, and it's free to dispose of waste at these locations.
The Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia has a list of over three hundred public dump points.
