ANZAC Day Ceremonies 2026

ANZAC Day falls on Saturday, 25 April 2026, with Councillors joining services across the Shire to honour the sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand defence personnel.

Bethanga

• 8.20am – Ceremony and wreath laying at the Cenotaph, Bethanga Memorial Hall, followed by light refreshments

Corryong

• 5.45am – Dawn Service
• 10.30am – March
• 10.45am – Ceremony and wreath laying at the Cenotaph, Corryong Memorial Hall

Cudgewa

• 6.15am – Ceremony and wreath laying at the Cenotaph, Main Street, followed by Councillor address and BBQ breakfast

Eskdale

• 10.30am – Gather outside AG Warehouse
• 10.50am – March to the Cenotaph (Information Centre)
• 11.00am – Service and wreath laying, followed by light refreshments

Tallangatta

• 5.45am – Dawn Service at the Cenotaph (assemble from 5.15 am)
• 10.30am – March from outside the laundromat
• 10.45am – Service, wreath laying and Mayor’s address at the Cenotaph (Triangles), followed by light refreshments

Walwa

• 10.00am – Ceremony and wreath laying at the Cenotaph, Walwa Memorial Hall, followed by light refreshments
