We manage local roads and council-owned buildings in Towong Shire. We continually monitor and upgrade these amenities for the benefit of our community.
From time to time, we need to partially or completely close roads in Towong Shire for road works or large projects. To find out more about any current or upcoming road works, closures or works, see our Public notices.
Town maintenance plans
Town maintenance plans detail how our towns and roads are maintained. Take a closer look at the town maintenance plans for different parts of the Shire below.
As our town maintenance contract is currently under review these documents are currently not available. We expect new town maintenance maps to be available by July.
