Donaldson Street Parking Plan Stage 1

Council sought community feedback on options to increase parking on Donaldson Street in Corryong.

Key themes expressed by the community included support for centre parking bays with parallel parking on both sides of the street, consideration of extending centre bays above the Donaldson Street/Hanson Street roundabout, concerns about traffic lane widths, and the importance of incorporating shade trees into the design.

The proposed markings will be in place during mid-late September and October, 2024.

During this time there will be an opportunity to provide feedback on the functionality of the design to the Project Manager. Following this, the design will be finalised, and we anticipate construction to commence in January.

Stage 1 of the Donaldson Street Parking Plan is now complete.

Stage 2, located south of the Donaldson/Hanson Street Roundabout, does not yet have a confirmed timeline. Council will monitor the performance and community response to Stage 1 before proceeding with the next phase at which time this page will be updated.
