Council is pleased to announce that car park asphalting will be undertaken in the Corryong CBD (between the roundabouts) on 23 and 24 November. This road is owned and managed by VicRoads. Unfortunately, the works have been delayed while negotiations regarding the memorandum of understanding for these works were finalised.
On Sunday 23 November milling of the existing surface will take place, and asphalting will follow on Monday 24 November.
These dates have been chosen to minimise disruption to the community and whilst Council anticipates that these works will be completed on 24 November, there is a possibility the works might continue into Tuesday 25 November.
Residents and visitors must ensure that all bays are clear of vehicles by Saturday night on 22 November so that the works can commence early Sunday morning.
