Developed in consultation with agriculture industry representatives and community members, the plan identifies opportunities for greater diversification and prosperity across the agricultural community.
Council sought feedback through several in-person consultation events across Towong Shire, a survey and written submissions. All feedback was considered in the development of the final plan.
The adopted Agriculture Strategic Plan will guide Council’s priorities and actions to support a strong and sustainable agricultural sector.
The Agriculture Strategic Plan was adopted at a Special Council Meeting on 8 March 2023.
