In December 2025 Council collaborated with the Granya Community to develop a Granya Recreation Reserve Masterplan.
The masterplan recommends improving pedestrian access with a new shared path and extending connections around the reserve, developing additional car parking and landscaping, upgrading the tennis courts and fencing, and creating new passive recreation spaces including a playspace, picnic area and spectator mound.
It also proposes a new tennis pavilion and toilets alongside the CFA fire shed, a new pump track, and improved fencing, shelter and tree planting within the grazing lease area.
